About Me

This is me while on the Big Island of Hawaii. More photos below.  I spent a few years there, gardening and farming. It reminded of my childhood. Except for the ocean 035 (Large)

I grew up on a 92 acre farm in North Eastern New York. We farmed, gardened and enjoyed home grown foods.

I spent most of my adult life in the computer industry, but always enjoyed getting my hands dirty. It is really fun and rewarding for me to work the soil, plant, care for and harvest. Home grown food tastes so much better than processed foods. And much healthier too.

Having lived and traveled all over the world, I have seen and experienced different types of food and differing opinions on healthy foods. The main reason for this website is to help inform and educate people so they have the choice to eat and live healthy and happy.

I hope you enjoy the information and feel free to contact me anytime.

Thank you

  1. I miss living in the country. I had a small ‘Ranchito’ years ago. Sold it when I got shipped overseas.

Regretted it ever since. I love gardens. I have a draft titled ‘Victory Garden.’ That may change, but it’s about survival gardening anywhere from Estates to little apartments.

I love this site, and I will be referring to your articles. I especially like the hydroponics system.
